Precision Cut For Accuracy & Use

Our double sided sticky pads are cut with precision to ensure a consistent and accurate size and thickness every time. Measuring 75mm * 20mm * 3mm with a handy pull-off tab to easily remove the red liner and expose the second side of adhesive.

Securing your plate with these number plate sticky pads is a breeze, ideally sized to hold any UK number plate yet stay discreet, we advise first cleaning and drying the surfaces thoroughly to achieve a reliable longlasting bond. Use for number plates and any other mounting application that requires thick doubles sided tape.

Thicker Double Sided Foam Tape Than Standard

For successful fixing of number plates and mounting of objects to another surface the thickness of the double sided sticky pad plays an important role.

"XTRA-THICK" means our number plate sticky pads can absorb more shocks, 3mm of engineered foam with double sided adhesive gives you a stronger and more flexible pad that can withstand many conditions.

Strong sticky strips with a thicker foam core can mask surface imperfections and will not lose adhesive strength when placed on an uneven surface, giving you confidence in securing your valuable number plates when you most need it. These pads are suitable for most curved number plates and are weatherproof and shockproof.

How To Apply Number Plate Sticky Pads

Important note: It is recommended to apply your number plate sticky pads in temperatures of 10c and above. In temperatures <5c the adhesive may not be able to cure reliably. These are very easy to apply, please follow this guidance:

  1. Thoroughly clean and dry the surfaces of your vehicle and number plate. Remove any traces of grease and dirt to enable your new pads to adhere correctly.
  2. Place five pads with firm, consistant pressure onto the reverse of your number plate from left to right with equal spacing.
  3. Once firmly in place, carefully peel the red liner off using the supplied liner tab.
  4. Press the number plate in position on your vehicle using very firm pressure on each of the sticky pads to achieve a longlasting, reliable bond. The high-tack adhesive will grab immediately. Do not attempt to remove and replace as you may lessen the adhesion and tear the foam core.

Easily Placed Mounting Tape

Simply peel and stick. We have designed our foam sticky pad set to ensure you have enough strips to mount your desired item, whether it be for a number plate, outdoor sign, vehicle accessory or something in the home. If your intended use is as number plate tape we would recommended using five sticky pads for each number plate, spread them equally across the width of the registration plate and apply with pressure to keep your number plate secure.

Follow these easy steps to get the best results from the pads when attaching a number plate to a vehicle.

  • Weather Resistant: Designed for full sun, wind, rain and snow, these number plate sticky pads help keep vehicle registration plates firmly attached after correct surface preparation and installation.
  • Clean, Peel and Stick: Clean and dry both surfaces, remove grease, wax, silicone and dirt, apply at 10 °C or above, use five pads evenly spaced, then press firmly; full-width pull tabs make the red liners easy to remove. Instructions included on packaging.
