Please note that this is not a voltage converter - check your device is dual voltage and accepts the UK's 220v power first.

Check the power label on your device to see if it is dual voltage and accepts the UK's power - usually if it says 110 - 240v (or displays a similar range), then it's ok to use

  • No - this is NOT a voltage converter. It changes the plug connection only, not voltage or frequency. Never use a 110V- or 120V-only device on the UK supply with this adaptor alone.

  • Your device needs to be 'dual voltage'. Most tablets, computers, phones are dual voltage. To check: find the INPUT power label on your device & look for 100–240V (or a similar range). These cover the UK’s 230V, 50Hz supply.

  • Do not use it with this adaptor alone. It cannot reduce UK voltage to US voltage. Check with the device manufacturer about a suitable converter or choose a UK-compatible device.

  • Only if your appliance supports 230V, 50Hz and stays within the adaptor’s 10A rating and any printed wattage limit. Many US hair appliances are 120V-only, so always check the label before use.
